Autres Terres
Surrounded by splendid rocky masses and the metallic call of the bellbird, “Autres Terres” demands the presence of the transient ghost of a crumbling peak.
Bathed in a sea of clouds, the nocturnal disorientation of the mountains accessed a lively place of irreducible ambiguity — of physical and almost hallucinatory consistency. These other lands, fragile, vanish from view. And their underground disappearance lingered in the damp fields, in the rotting scent of the vine.
The secrets of the alpine flora merge with the murmur of the dense forest. There, in the valleys and steep cliffs of the Serra da Mantiqueira, there was a moment of clarity of belonging to the mystery and that mystery belonging to you. In this world that reinvents itself, in this land that recognizes itself: migratory mirages.
